The Brio AQUUS Tankless Reverse Osmosis Undersink Filtration System (TROE800COL) is an under-sink drinking water system that produces filtered water on demand without a storage tank. It is intended for use with municipal cold water supplies and is professionally installed at the point of use, connecting to the cold water line and dispensing through an included smart faucet. The system provides two water options through a dual-lever smart faucet: filtered water, suitable for tasks such as rinsing produce and cooking, and reverse osmosis (RO) purified water for drinking. The faucet has a display with a filter-lifetime indicator and a total dissolved solids (TDS) meter. Filtration is carried out by two cartridges: a PCB filter, which removes mud, sand, rust, and other suspended solids along with chlorine and unpleasant tastes, odors, and colors; and an RO membrane, rated at 0.0001 micron, which removes up to 99% of contaminants, including total dissolved solids, fluoride, and heavy metals such as lead and arsenic. Brio markets this arrangement as "4-in-2" filtration, referring to a four-stage treatment process carried out across the two cartridges. This model has a daily purified production rate of 800 GPD and a recovery rate of 2:1 pure to waste. Per Brio's data, dispensed water sees a TDS reduction rate of up to 90% under controlled laboratory test conditions. The system ships with the filtration unit, the smart faucet, the first set of filters, and an installation kit that includes a pressure reduction valve for use where supply pressure is high.
