The Brio Moderna 4-Stage Reverse Osmosis Coffee Maker & Bottleless Water Cooler Dispenser combines a single-cup coffee maker and a freestanding point-of-use water dispenser in one unit. It connects directly to a cold water supply line, removing the need for water bottles.
Using standard single-use coffee or tea capsules (sold separately), the brewer prepares 6, 8, or 10 ounce servings. A touch panel display controls brewing, dispensing, and settings, including a digital clock, filter-status indicators, and three selectable cold-water temperature levels. The unit dispenses hot and cold water on demand, with 2X Fast Dispense technology for quicker filling and an 11.5-inch water dispense height that accommodates taller glasses, bottles, and pitchers.
Water passes through a four-stage reverse osmosis filtration system: a sediment filter for coarse particulates, a pre carbon filter, a reverse osmosis membrane, and a post carbon filter for a final polish. The reverse osmosis stage removes contaminants including lead, arsenic, fluoride, and total dissolved solids, and a built-in TDS meter can display before- and after-filtration readings. The hot water function has a child safety lock, and an LED night light illuminates the dispense area in low light.
The dispenser also includes UV-Care self-cleaning technology. A UV LED above the cold water tank runs on an automatic cycle (40 minutes on, 140 minutes off) to keep the cold tank sanitized; this feature sanitizes the cold tank and is not a water-purification stage.
